VIRAL is a gamified narrative VR experience, co-produced by IKO and Les Films de la capitaine, and co-written by Stéphanie Doncker and Amaury Campion, which tells the story of Luna, a young teenager who is bullied by her classmates.

Incarna Studios was in charge of pre-production of this experience, combining narrative and playful interaction.

Incarna Studios supported the authors, thanks to our direct and regular exchanges.

We were in charge of the pre-production phase, which ended with the creation of a playable slice vertical.

Once again, it's a collaboration between our three divisions (Programming, Art, Game Design) that enabled us to create this experience:

Art Side :

  • Determining the ‘paper’ style Art Direction.
  • Production of Concept Art and Storyboard.
  • Environment and character modelling.
  • Creation of VFX.

Programming and Game Design Side

  • Creation of Gameplay systems
  • Creation of a moving system
  • Integration and calibration of the sound.

The aim was to get as close as possible to what the authors imagined and the emotions they wanted to evoke in the player!
